Sales and Telesales

Selling is an essential part of every business. If a company cannot sell its products and services then it could go out of business. Therefore, recruiting or developing high calibre sales staff with good salesmanship is a key part of any company’s recruitment strategy. So the career prospects in this sector are good.

Working in sales will involve dealing directly with customers to encourage them to buy as many of your products or services as possible. You might meet your customers face to face or your role could be telephone-based. You will be required to build lasting relationships with your clients to encourage repeat sales in the future, as well as seek out brand new customers. Your role as a sales apprentice could be in any number of sectors, such as retail, hospitality and finance
